After Hours Redemption by Kianna Alexander

Harlequin Desire, 2020

⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve said this many times, but second-chance romance is not my favorite trope. But it worked for me here. Eden is a songwriter who almost made it big in the music business as a singer before being betrayed by the one man she should have been able to trust. Blaine, once desperate to save his music label, is desperate again and enlists the song writing talents of the woman he hurt but still loves.

There is a lot family/sisterly* love in this story and I wrapped that around myself like a cozy blanket. And the blazing chemistry between Eden and Blaine? Hot. This would have been five stars for me if the grovel had been bigger. Blaine did a reeeeeeally selfish thing and Eden deserved a bigger grovel in my grovel-loving opinion.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you Netgalley and Harlequin for the chance to read an advanced copy.
